President Obama Supports Gay Marriage

Finally …a President who gets it and isn’t scared to speak up for ALL. Can you believe that this is the very first time that the sitting President of the United States has openly endorsed gay marriage.

Mr. President aka Barack Obama spoke with ABC News and said, “I think same sex couples should be able to get married.”  

Though he did try to skirt past the issue throughout his term …I guess he now thinks its important to address it. Coincidence that the election race is going on? I don’t know ..i’m just glad someone of his stature and power was brave enough to speak up  about the issue.

101.5 Jamz at The Purple Society Car Wash!

It’s getting hot again in Arizona, and Spring is starting to feel more like summer as the days go on. Most kids choose to sleep in and stay inside on a Saturday like today, but unlike those kids, the Jr. Purple Society chose to spend their Saturday morning washing cars. 101.5 Jamz was there for their charity car wash at Chaparral High School to raise money for the Purple Society, an organization devoted to helping others forge a path when dealing with childhood cancer treatment. The kids worked hard, had fun, and made money for their organization. The Jr. Purple Society should be very proud of themselves!101.5 Jamz at The Purple Society…

101.5jamz is all about helping out the community! Our very own mid day chicka Jackie Morales with the 1015Entourage came out to lend a helping hand! The students at Collins College worked the runway today at the “Mystical Fashion Show” with their unique clothing designs. Our late-night delight, Nina Cruz and The 101.5 Entourage handed out prizes and danced the evening away. There was a live band, delicious food and even some feathery owls! The 101.5 Entourage was extremely impressed with the students at Collins College, they’re very creative and good people. Check out the pictures!
